Siempre pensamos que los festivales se central en la música y dejan de lado todo lo demás. Pero esto no es así. Lo podemos ver muy claramente en el Brutal Assault que, además de que ofrece muchísimas opciones culturales (cine en el recinto, exposiciones, desfiles…), también presta una atención especial al cuidado del medio ambiente. Y esto es posible verlo en su iniciativa ‘Brutal Forest’ que un año más ha permitido plantar miles de nuevos árboles.
El pasado octubre, el festival anunciaba que todo aquel que quisiera participar, podía enviar un email a basobe@brutalassault.com para poder colaborar en la plantación estas especies. Hoy mismo, 7 de noviembre, el BA anunciaba que ya son más de 10.000 árboles los que crecen en el Brutal Forest, tras cuatro ediciones de esta iniciativa. La zona se llama U hřiba Satana y cada año se ve alimentada por más árboles.
